On the Shoulders of Giants

A 15-foot bronze sculpture by Robert Cook installed in 1989 at the intersection of Research Forest Drive and Grogan's Mill Road. Its considerable weight and detailed casting reward a stop rather than a drive-by glance, though most commuters treat the intersection purely as a traffic decision point.
