Conservatory Garden

Central Park's only formal garden, entered through wrought-iron Vanderbilt Gates that used to guard a Fifth Avenue mansion long since torn down. Split into French, Italian, and English sections, it's one of the few corners of the park that stays genuinely peaceful even in summer.
