HIDDEN GEM

Miami-Dade County Courthouse

Finished in 1928 with a pyramid-shaped ziggurat roof, this was the tallest building south of the Mason-Dixon line when it opened. Twenty-eight floors of granite and terra cotta with decorative acanthus carvings most people rushing to jury duty never notice.
