Roosevelt Island Bridge Walkway

This drawbridge connects Queens to Roosevelt Island over the East River, and the pedestrian path across it is one of the few places you can walk directly over the water at a low, close vantage point rather than looking down from way up high. It's a functional, unglamorous bridge, which somehow makes the view feel more real.
