HIDDEN GEM
Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art
A stone Buddhist temple complex built in the 1940s by a Staten Island art dealer who never actually visited Tibet herself, filled with one of the largest collections of Tibetan art outside of Asia. The terraced garden out back has koi ponds and a view that feels nothing like the rest of the borough.
