George and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library

The largest branch of the Montgomery County Memorial Library System, with a full calendar of author talks, children's programming, and community meeting space beyond the usual stacks. It is easy to overlook as a destination rather than an errand, but the building itself is a pleasant place to spend an afternoon, and the programming calendar is worth checking before a visit. Library cards are free for Montgomery County residents.
