Roosevelt Island - Four Freedoms Park

The point at the very southern tip of the island narrows to a triangle of granite steps, framed by rows of trees, with the United Nations building dead ahead across the water. Louis Kahn designed this one, and it shows in how deliberately the whole thing points you toward the skyline.
