Lyric Theater

Built in 1913 as 'the most beautiful playhouse owned by colored people in the Southland,' this Overtown theater hosted Aretha Franklin, Count Basie, and Ella Fitzgerald back when the strip was called Little Broadway. It's the oldest operating theater in Miami, still putting on shows today.
