Gantry Plaza State Park

The old shipping gantries still stand right on the water next to the giant vintage neon Pepsi-Cola sign, with the whole Midtown skyline directly across the East River. It's an easy stop off the 7 train and one of the best sunset spots in Queens that most Manhattanites never bother crossing the river for.
