Morningside Park Overlook

This park drops steeply from Morningside Heights down to Harlem, and the terrace near the top gives you a sweeping look east over Harlem's rooftops that you just don't get from the flatter parts of Manhattan. It's one of Olmsted's lesser-known designs and it shows in how well the terrain is used.
