Fort Wadsworth - Battery Weed Overlook

The old fort sits right where the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge touches down, and climbing up to the overlook by Battery Weed puts you almost underneath the towers with the whole Narrows spread out below. It's part of the National Park Service, so it's free and open sunrise to sunset.
