Bear Branch Reservoir

One of the only catch-and-keep fishing spots inside The Woodlands Township, this natural, unmanaged reservoir holds bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill among thick summer vegetation, and is best fished from a kayak or canoe launched with a cart. It's a working angler's spot rather than a polished amenity, which keeps it well off the typical visitor's radar.
